RAYNET is keen to involve new members in its activities.

While most members have an amateur radio licence and radio communications is the focus of RAYNET's activities, you do not need a licence to join. There are other skills that are needed by RAYNET: organisation, planning and administration, amongst many others.

For those who are interested in taking part in the events and exercises but do not have an amateur radio licence, some of the groups are linked to local amateur radio clubs and all of the groups can assist you in finding a training establishment in your locality. The groups also provide training to members who have their licences at the local events at which they assist.

If you are interested in joining RAYNET, please contact the local group in your area. You will find contact details on the Contacts page.
